Software Engineer,Senior

SUMMARY:
Senior software engineers support a team responsible for the analysis, re-programming, integration, unit-test and production debugging and modification of new and existing wireless phone software. A seasoned experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience in programming computer applications
5+ years experience including software development in C and/or C++, Java, PERL, and CDMA experience
Knowledge of software documentation, utilities and job control languages
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational and multi tasking skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs testing and debugging of software using programming language and technologies
Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
Interfaces with users and developers to system requirements and/or necessary modifications
Assists in performing full life cycle analysis and testing of software features
Performs failure analysis and recommends or implements code changes to provide solutions
Performs other related duties

PROBLEM SOLVING:
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
